Anne Wice is in third year Aerospace Engineering focusing on aerodynamics and propulsion. She is also pursuing a minor in American Sign Language, which she will be completing this summer. Next year, for her fourth year cumulative project she plans to participate in the introductory year of the crash test dummy project. Her main interest lies in structures and vibrations within aerospace vehicles, which she will be exploring further through undergraduate research at Carleton University in collaboration with the National Science and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) during the 2011 summer. She will be working with professors F. Afagh and R. Langlois on improving maritime helicopter safety. To this end, she will integrate and analyze distinct test data sets in order to determine their combined effect.
